60-75min. Initial acupuncture visits consist of a comprehensive evaluation and treatment session. The visit begins with a structured review of the patient’s presenting complaints, relevant medical history, and functional limitations to support clinical assessment and treatment planning.

The evaluation may include measurement of vital signs and traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic techniques, including bilateral pulse assessment and tongue observation. These findings inform pattern differentiation and guide point selection.

The visit concludes with a full acupuncture treatment tailored to the patient’s current presentation and treatment objectives.

50-60min. This visit builds on your ongoing treatment plan and focuses on addressing current symptoms while supporting longer-term patterns identified in your care. Treatment may include acupuncture along with review and adjustment of your Chinese herbal prescription, based on your response and any changes in your health status.

We’ll assess progress, refine treatment priorities, and modify herbs as needed to ensure they remain appropriate and supportive. Time is also used to review relevant changes in medications, supplements, or symptoms that may influence treatment decisions.

30 min. This visit focuses on evaluating your response to the prescribed herbal formula and making thoughtful adjustments as your symptoms and body change. We’ll review what has improved, what still needs support, and any new or evolving concerns since your last visit.

Follow-ups allow for fine-tuning of dosage, ingredients, and treatment strategy, as well as continued attention to safety considerations, including changes in medications, supplements, or health status.

Herbal medicine works best when it is responsive and individualized. Regular follow-ups help ensure your formula remains aligned with your current needs.

50-60min. Follow-up acupuncture visits focus on ongoing treatment of the patient’s presenting condition(s) and reassessment of clinical progress. The visit includes a brief interval history to evaluate symptom changes, functional response, and any relevant updates to health status.

Based on this reassessment, acupuncture treatment is provided using point selection appropriate to the current presentation and treatment phase. Treatment strategy may be adjusted over time in response to clinical findings and patient response.

60-75min. In-home acupuncture visits are available for patients who are unable to travel to the clinic, as well as for those who prefer care in the comfort and privacy of their own home. These visits are especially appropriate for individuals with mobility limitations, complex medical/mental health conditions, or those receiving palliative or end-of-life care.

The practitioner brings prior experience providing care in home and end-of-life settings and approaches this work with deep respect for the patient, their family, and the home environment. It is considered an honor and a privilege to provide care in this setting, particularly during times of serious illness or transition.

60 min. Group treatment available upon request with advanced scheduling. Sliding scale $25-$45 per person. Minimum of 4 participants.
